Fellow supporters and voters,
The past eight years of Port leadership has produced results. A well run Port does not happen by accident. It takes real vision, real leadership and a talented and dedicated staff. I, along with my fellow commissioners, have provided sound fiscal leadership that has achieved these results.
In 2003, I came to you after a long career as a Blaine High School teacher and spoke about my vision for a strong Port rooted in the history of our county. I have worked hard at leading the Port and achieving that vision.
I am proud to be a public servant, I am proud of the Port and our fine staff, and I am proud of the results we have achieved.
I look forward to continuing to move the Port forward with leadership over the next four years as your District #3 Port Commissioner. I would appreciate your vote to re-elect me to the Port of Bellingham Commission.
